The JPL Voyager project marked the 25 year anniversary of the Voyagers in space. The project was started by Dr. Gary Zank (renowned physicist for UCR) who completed a grant with JPL/NASA on the study of the solar winds and brought in $75,000 to UCR at the time. The multimedia CD was printed and distributed to students, high schools and colleges worldwide. Over 100,000 copies were printed and distributed., and the website (https://spacephysics.ucr.edu) associated with the multimedia CD used to generate over 1000 hits per day after its release.
